None of the four global shortcuts need any extra permission to fire. ⌘⇧F (Jump to Source) brings your source app to the front — it can’t target one specific window if that app has several open. The three “jump to” shortcuts are off by default and can be enabled individually in Settings → General → Permissions.

Glossary
- Curtain: the branded overlay covering the audience’s view of your content. Down = hidden, up = live.
- Stagehand Output: the dedicated window you share into Zoom, Teams, or streaming tools. It mirrors your selected source; your audience only ever sees this window.
- Source: the window or display currently being mirrored into the Output window.
- Switchboard: the presenter-facing control window (full or compact/pinned), never visible to your audience.
- Scene: a short subtitle overlaid on the curtain (e.g. Starting Soon or Q&A) to communicate status while the curtain is down.
- Confidence monitor: the live mini-preview in the Switchboard showing exactly what your audience currently sees.
